Theoretically, there is plenty of water on earth – scientists estimate that there are currently more than 1.2 billion cubic kilometres of water. But in practice, only a very small part is usable as drinking water, because about 97 percent of water is salt water. That’s why clean water is already a scarce and very expensive resource in many regions of the world.
In January 2012, the number of people on earth exceeded the seven billion mark and according to UN estimates, there are about 2.5 more people every second. According to the UN, by 2020 more than 7.8 billion people will share this planet – by 2050 it is expected to be as much as 9.4 billion.
At the same time, there is an increasing need for water to produce food and energy – so an irreversible process is already underway with just one question: how to participate in this multi-trillion market?
We develop water promotion concepts through the use of geological teams around the globe and participate in water promotion and distribution companies. We design water saving and water management systems for communities and towns with up to 500,000 inhabitants.
